GhostBSD Team is proud to release GhostBSD 1.0 Beta live CD.
The DVD and amd64 CD and DVD are coming soon.

In GhostBSD 1.0 we added some new features: Procfs, kernel sound support. Exaile, more Gstreamer plugins, Swfdec plugin, Xchat, cpu run coller.
We updated to FreeBSD 8.0, gnome2.26.3. We fixed some bugs from last version.

To do: finish the installer, make a network manager, package manager and update manager. Finish the web page.

    Excellent !

    We need more people like the GostBSD team. FreeBSD is one very good base and the GostBSD team has add one “simple copy live CD” (is one CD not one DVD = simple fast copy) to promote FreeBSD. One special effect is the Ubuntu Destktop basic instructions are working too!
