Topic: 1.5 AMD GhostBSD?

How soon will a build be released thats able to be installed? I just don't wanna try cloning the cd to my ext3 partition.. Just curious as to how soon a release date is scheduled..

Awesome, Thanks! Hopefully all of the same features will still be there, have you ever thought about opening an beta testers for site members only option? So we could test and report the bugs that are noticable and apparent at the time of comming up to a RC build for that current build, I'd willingly volunteer...

I tried 1.5 AMD and my desktop is completely white when it loads, safemode won't load at all...

Do you know when you might have a small fix for the video card I mentioned? LoL! Hopefully 2.0 or 2.5, perhaps? I'm dying to try this out and install it on my laptop. BTW I tried both x86 and x64 both have the same result...

all is there but i don't understand why you have this bug.  You are not the only one. all problem report is from ATI card. Me i only us Nvidia because they do drivers for open source. one irc some one report he have to kill compiz. that can be are problem.

thanks for great job,im about  yours proect GhostBSD in general and DVD-Live with install function.I hope that you will have many followers. You ask to state the offers.Так to me it was not possible to establish system on a disk, the keyboard easier has not wanted to work, and  i cannot to correct of configs, therefore there is such offer, after start  of CDM, to be a  possibility to enter a  console (pressing a dif key), by pressing of any combination of keys if anything in this moment not to press, let the system goes on a desktop.

Sorry, english its not a me native language.
1. Thank you for great job, it’s a nice idea Green FreeBSD+Gnome and Live DVD with install.
2. I have downloaded  DVD-iso GhostBSD-1.5-x86    and  checked  the sum мд5-all OK.
3. Has written a  image to  DVD-r  at  small speed with record check - all OK.
4. Why am started this  DVD  a different  PC  and in both cases, there passed loading up to a desktop, but the keyboard in desktop-option   not working , and in the beginning loadings it works at a choice of type of loading and when passes in a desktop does not work.
5. I could not look a “log-file” and understand why so occurs, because Alt-F1, Ctrl-Alt-F1 after start of loading of a desktop did not work.
6. Therefore I offer, in a loading part of a  Live-DVD , to enter function ,of a choice the console-desktop, if anything during this moment it has not been chosen, loading let goes on a desktop. It will facilitate adjustment of system for novice users (the same at me)

768Mb RAM
But in the beginning, the keyboard works, I can choose loading type, it then, somewhere around start  of  GDM it ceases to react.

in the same PC im installed FreeBSD8.1+Gnome without any problem
but i want to install GhostBSD like a lot of green...
