GhostBSD 3.5-BETA2 is now available!

The second BETA  build of the 3.5 development release is now available on SourceForge for LXDE and Xfce on amd64 and i386 architectures.

Important info

Please be aware this release provides users, beta testers and developers with a system to test out new features in the upcoming release. Beta2 may contain buggy code and features, so we encourage you to run it only on non-critical systems.

If you notice problems you can report them through, on the ghostbsdproject-bugs mailing list or the appropriate forum.

Changes between -BETA1 and -BETA2 include:

  • FreeBSD BETA2 to RC2.
  • Fix amd64 divers packages.
  • Fix amd64 and i386 packages.

Known issue.

  • Caja is in both Xfce and Lxde version.

Openbox and Mate are not yet ready. Chance are that they will be released before or in 3.5 BETA3.

I would love to try out ghostBSD as it looks very nice but as with what others have said about it online its very hard to load running it from a USB...I downloaded the live and the USB version neither of whom would load onto my system.I am  running linux  but i guess untill this issue is fixed alot of people as myself will not be aboe to see how well your OS runs.

What is the password for this GhostBSD4.0-BETA1-amd64? It works loads up fine in vbox but whenever i try usb or dvd i get stuck at login or terminal. I guess the user name is "ghostbsd" but they ask me for password and blank doesnt work:(
