I am happy to announce the release of GhostBSD 26.3.R15.1p6! This is a bug fix release on top of 26.2, still based on FreeBSD 15.1 p6. Its main purpose is to fix the leftover NVIDIA repository files on fresh installs, along with a few other fixes.
New Version Format
Starting with this release, the GhostBSD version is separated from the FreeBSD version by a dot instead of a dash: 26.3.R15.1p6 instead of 26.3-R15.1p6. With the dash, pkg did not take the GhostBSD release number into account when comparing versions.

Bug Fixes
- xconfig no longer leaves the NVIDIA driver repository configured on new installations, which made pkg pull in nvidia-kmod and xlibre-nvidia-driver on Intel and AMD hardware
- xconfig now always removes unused drivers
- Update Station now understands the new dotted version format
Fresh 26.2 Installs
If you did a fresh installation of GhostBSD 26.2, the leftover NVIDIA repository files are still on your system and need to be removed by hand. Follow the steps in Remove Leftover NVIDIA Repo Files on Fresh 26.2 Installs. Systems upgraded from 26.1 are not affected.
